E)Market Share
BBC Radio Cambridgeshire has a population of  800,000 people
Its listeners roughly listen to them 7.9 hours per week.
At the moment the current trend in the market share is a low but slowly rising one. This could be because of the fact that there are so many different radio stations covering various demographics of people .
The trend in the last 15 years is an up and down share of the market with the shares slowly going down. This could be because of things such as the internet becoming a big thing allowing for listeners from all over the world getting to listen to what they want and therefore making local radios such as BBC radio Cambridgeshire less popular.
During the difference between the studios lowest point of weekly listeners and highest listeners the industry the BBC I player was released which caused BBC radio Cambridgeshire numbers to lower as itr meant anyone could listen to a certain radio show without restriction, this also meant a more variety of shows for listeners to choose from.
